Do you offer food and tea, or do we need an outside catering company?
We do not provide food or tea, as Desert Tea Party Rentals does not hold a food license. However, we’re happy to recommend a few wonderful local small businesses or share ideas for store-bought options. Many of our clients also enjoy preparing their own menu — and we’re glad to guide you with recommendations for every aspect of your tea party.
What is the difference between Tea Party Rentals and Tea Party Packages?
Our Tea Party Rentals allow you to select individual pieces à la carte—perfect for customizing your own setup. Our Tea Party Packages are pre-designed collections that include everything you need for a complete tea party experience, offering simplicity and beautiful coordination.
Can you help with planning and coordinating my event?
Absolutely. We offer event planning and coordination services to help bring your tea party vision to life—from concept and design to setup and vendor coordination.
How much do you charge for cleaning?
A standard cleaning fee is included in all rental pricing. You don’t need to wash or clean any of the teaware—simply empty cups and plates, and we’ll take care of the rest.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Delivery is charged at the current national business mileage rate — $0.70 per mile (2025 rate) — based on round-trip distance from Gilbert, AZ to your event location. The total delivery fee will be included in your custom quote.
Is there a minimum rental order?
Yes, we do have a minimum rental requirement that varies by location and delivery distance. Please contact us for current minimums in your area.
Can I pick up the rentals myself?
At this time, we handle all delivery, setup, and pickup to ensure the safety and quality of our vintage pieces.
Do you provide setup and breakdown? What does that include?
Yes! Our team handles full setup and breakdown of all rented items, ensuring every teacup, plate, and tiered stand is beautifully arranged. For breakdown, we simply ask that no liquids remain in teacups or teapots, and that large food items are removed from plates and tiered stands before our team packs everything up.
Do you offer event table décor and floral?
Yes — we offer a curated selection of décor pieces to elevate your tablescape, along with minimal floral arrangements to complement your tea party design.
